In the serverfield enter i.e. jabber.org, into the port field enter i.e. 5222.

A popup window will appear, asking to trust the applet, grant permissions to start gt. trust me :).

Note: The applet is self-signed. On some plattforms you can simply click the link and your jdk queries for accepting or rejecting the applet.

If nothing opens up: On some other machines you have to manually import the signer's certificate (uls.crt), before starting the applet - a click on the crt-link works in most browsers.

To run as standalone, decrunch both jars into a directory and run 'java -classpath . greenthumb.ui.E4'.
